Allegri responds to Juventus fans who want him sacked

FOOTBALL ITALIA

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has ‘nothing to say’ to fans who want him sacked and insists ‘football is not an exact science.’

The Bianconeri will complete their second consecutive trophyless season under the Tuscan tactician.

Allegri has been heavily criticised by many Juventus fans on social media over the last two years. Not only for his lack of trophies but also his defensive playing style.

The Livorno-born coach was asked to send a message to fans who want him sacked during a pre-match press conference on Saturday.

“I have nothing to tell then. We’ve worked with seriousness and honesty. In life, getting everyone to agree is impossible,” he said.

“There is always someone happy and someone who is not. It happened even when we were winning trophies. This is part of the game, we must analyse two difficult seasons, but football is not an exact science. We must work with serenity, trying to make fewer errors. Perfection doesn’t exist.”
