After returning from injury on August 3, Neymar has now suffered yet another injury, according to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins.
Neymar’s fresh injury comes after he received a blow in the adductor area during training.
Barcelona have been heavily linked with Neymar, but a recurrence of yet another injury for a player who’s already considered injury prone puts a potential move to Catalonia in serious jeopardy.
Credible reports say Xavi doesn’t want Neymar in his squad anyway and this would further reinforce his stance.
Speaking after Barca beat Spurs in the Joan Gamper trophy, Xavi said: “I can’t say anything on names and options, same for Neymar. We will see what we can do from today until August 31.”
