Reports indicate that Neymar has been informed that he is not welcome at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) anymore. His former Barcelona coach, Luis Enrique, conveyed to him that he doesn’t fit into the club’s future plans.
According to French outlet RMC, both Enrique and Luis Campos held one-on-one meetings with several players at the club’s training ground, including Neymar, Marco Verratti, Hugo Ekitike, Juan Bernat, and Renato Sanches, instructing them to depart.
In Neymar’s case, there’s been considerable interest. PSG reportedly values him at around £130 million, and they would consider a loan deal until 2024 to alleviate their wage bill.
Chelsea was rumoured to be engaged in discussions earlier this week, but Mauricio Pochettino, who managed Neymar during his time at PSG, reportedly isn’t seeking a reunion.
