Erling Haaland has commented on Jadon Sancho’s loan move to Borussia Dortmund and aimed a dig at parent club Manchester United.

Sancho sealed a return to the Bundesliga giants, who he left to join United in a £72 million deal in 2021, on Thursday after falling out with Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag didn’t pick Sancho for a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in September after questioning his efforts in training.

It saw the 23-year-old take to X, formerly known as Twitter, to claim he’d been made a ‘scapegoat’ by his manager.

Sancho deleted the post but refused to apologise to Ten Hag privately or publicly.

He’s not featured since coming off the bench in August’s 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest.

United then decided it’d be best for him to finish the season away from Old Trafford.

Sancho will wear the number 10 shirt at Dortmund, who he won the DFB-Pokal with in 2021.

Alongside the England international in that team was Manchester City striker Haaland, who formed a strong bond on and off the pitch with Sancho.

Last week, he aimed a subtle dig at United’s treatment of Sancho by sharing a picture of the pair captioned: “Some baller that.”

He was at it again after seeing Dortmund’s post showing Sancho wearing his new shirt.

Haaland called the photo ‘Beautiful’ with a heart-eyes emoji on his Instagram story.

Sancho is looking forward to playing at Signal Iduna Park once again and told club media: “When I walked into the dressing room today, it felt like a homecoming. I know the club inside out.
