7 Real Madrid players poised to miss pre-season tour after Euro 2024 and Copa America 2024 heroics

VIA TRIBUNA:

Real Madrid are going to embark on a pre-season tour of the United States of America to prepare for the start of the 2024/25 season.

But the club has already confirmed that the players who reach the Euro 2024 and Copa America 2024 semifinals or finals will not be involved in this tour.

A reason behind that is Los Blancos wants their players well rested after the international commitment and will give them a three-week holiday period.

In that regard, Real Madrid will end up missing seven key first-team players. This is after France, Spain and England reached the Euro 2024 semi-final.

Kylian Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga, Ferland Mendy, and Aurelien Tchouameni won’t play in the three friendlies in the USA, including the one against Barcelona.

Dani Carvajal has helped Spain reach the semis and Jude Bellingham has played a key role for England too. Both will be out of the travelling squad for the USA tour.

Fede Valverde is the only Real Madrid player in the Copa America semifinal. He will also be missing the games in America due to the club’s rules.

Carlo Ancelotti will get to try out different variations with his squad players and give chances to youngsters in the pre-season games.

Real Madrid face AC Milan (July 31), Barcelona (August 3) and Chelsea (August 6) as part of their matches in the USA.
