According to multiple reports in Spanish media, including La Vanguardia and Marca, Mounir Nasraoui, the father of 17-year-old Barcelona and Spain soccer sensation Lamine Yamal, has been hospitalized after being stabbed near Barcelona. The incident reportedly occurred in a parking lot in the town of Mataró, located north of Barcelona.
Citing unnamed official sources, La Vanguardia indicated that Nasraoui was stabbed multiple times and is currently in serious but stable condition at Can Ruti Hospital. It is also reported that several arrests have been made in connection with the attack, although details are limited at this time.
