Champions League: Rodri implies Real Madrid outshone Manchester City in their exit

Manchester City midfielder, Rodri has taken a jibe at Real Madrid after the Spanish La Liga leaders managed to defeat the Premier League giants in the Champions League quarter-final second leg tie on Wednesday.

Recall that Rodrygo put Real Madrid in front but a second half goal from Kevin De Bruyne restored parity.

However, Carlo Ancelotti’s side advanced to the semi-final, thanks to a 4-3 penalty shootout victory.

Speaking at his post-match interview, Rodri, who feels Pep Guardiola’s side should have defeated Madrid, insisted that he only saw one team [Man City] during the encounter.

According to him, the Los Blancos know how to suffer.

The Spainaird said: “I saw only one team today, to be honest.

“They defended and they knew how to suffer and we know how tough Real Madrid is.
