Nigerian-born forward Samu Omorodion named in Spain’s squad for men’s football event of Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Samu Omorodion, a forward of Nigerian descent who plays for Atletico Madrid, has been included in Spain’s squad for the men’s football event at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The 20-year-old player, born in Melilla, Spain, to Nigerian parents, will represent Spain in the prestigious tournament, which will be held from July 26 to August 11.

Omorodion’s inclusion in the squad, according to local reports, is a testament to his impressive performance for Atletico Madrid last season and his potential as a rising star in Spanish football.

Spain’s under-21 manager announced his 22-man squad for the Paris 2024 Olympics, including two players who are currently at Euro 2024 with the senior side.
