Elon Musk teases another ‘X’ rebrand but fans slam ‘a** graphics’

Elon Musk has teased another rebrand to X (formerly Twitter) in a mysterious five-word post.

Musk, 52, shared a seven-second video on the platform which showed the ‘X’ logo side by side with a new circular logo. The cryptic caption read “the circle will be complete”, leaving users below anxious as to what sort of rebrand the Tesla billionaire is planning this time.

In July 2023, the business magnate famously overhauled the site’s title “Twitter”, the word “tweet” and the bird logo, which dated back to 2008. In its place, Musk chose an ‘X’, which was taken from the Unicode character.

In response to what appears to be Musk teasing another rebrand, many users were sceptical. “As long as Twitter still feels like Twitter please,” wrote one person.

Some were critical of the new circular ‘X’ logo design, with one writing: “This man will take us to mars, but drag us down with the most a** animation and graphics.” Another asked if Musk “forgot to hire logo designers, like any at all?”

Several users debated whether this new rebrand could signal the start of ‘payments’ being carried out on the platform. “X Payment coming soon I presume,” one person wrote below.
