‘He’s all set in a certain school that’s very good,’ Trump told the outlet.

The former president just smiled when the asked his son would be attending New York University. Barron, 18, graduated from the exclusive Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach in May.

His father has previously said that his 6-foot-7 Trump has taken an interest in politics and even advises him sometimes.

Speaking on Philadelphia’s Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, he said: ‘He’s a little on the tall side. I will tell you, he’s a tall one, but he is a good-looking guy.

‘And he’s really been a great student. And he does like politics. It’s sort of funny, he’ll tell me sometimes, “Dad, this is what you have to do.”‘

In July, Trump also praised his youngest son after he attended his first political rally in Florida.

Barron joined his older brother Eric and Don Jr for a campaign event in Doral, where Trump has a gold club. The trio sat together in the front row.

Trump introduced all three of his sons to the crowd, saying that it was ‘the first time’ Barron joined them and gave hints about the teenager’s future.

Speaking to the crowd, Trump said: ‘Got into every college he wanted to and he made his choice.

‘And he’s a very good guy, I’ll tell you. He’s a very special guy, Barron Trump. This is the first time he’s ever done this.’
