DAILY POST
Germany and France have issued a stern warning to the US incoming President, Donald Trump, against any attempt to take over Greenland.
It was gathered that Trump has repeatedly expresssed his desire to acquire Greenland, stating that the Danish-administered Arctic Island is critical for national and economic security.
The president-elect was said to have considered the idea during his first term in 2019.
Although Greenland has been pushing for independence from Denmark, the territory has reiterated that it is not for sale.
Denmark, which is a long-time US ally, has also said Greenland is not for sale, insisting that the island belongs to its inhabitants.
