18-year-old accused of killing girlfriend, leaves body in her Jeep
An 18-year-old is accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death, putting her body in the trunk of her own car, then driving to his mother’s home, where prosecutors say the alleged cover-up began.
Investigators say Royce Moser’s internet history shows repeated searches about demons controlling people to kill, removing fingerprints, and whether an 18-year-old could receive the death penalty.
Prosecutors say those searches help support their case that the killing of 18-year-old Karoline Heintz was premeditated.
Moser and his mother, Rachel Moser, remain jailed as authorities accuse her of helping clean up and conceal the crime.
