2027: Fayose says Atiku too old for presidency, compares him to Biden
Former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose has described African Democratic Congress presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar as too old to contest the 2027 election, comparing him to former US President Joe Biden, according to a Daily Post Nigeria report.
Speaking on TVC’s Politics Tonight, Fayose said time had caught up with Atiku, adding that President Bola Tinubu, Atiku and Peter Obi are contesting their last election. He also said Atiku’s running mate, Rotimi Amaechi, would struggle for support in the South-South due to limited political influence, noting that ADC and NNPP structures remain weak on ground there.
