2027: Makinde’s campaign team names 12 states where he will defeat Tinubu
The Makinde-Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation (MDPCO) has claimed that Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde will defeat President Bola Tinubu in 12 states during the 2027 presidential election.
According to Legit.ng, the organisation made the claim in a statement signed by its Director of Strategic Communications, Richard Nnanna Ihediwa.
The states identified are Oyo, Kaduna, Rivers, Plateau, Borno, Enugu, Bauchi, Sokoto, Delta, Kano, Adamawa and Lagos.
MDPCO argued that Tinubu’s planned campaign visits would not reverse what it described as growing dissatisfaction with his administration.
The group attributed the alleged discontent to economic hardship and accused the President’s associates of political arrogance.
It also challenged Tinubu to travel by road across the states to assess infrastructure and living conditions.
Promoting Makinde’s RESET NIGERIA agenda, the organisation highlighted education, economic development, security and political reforms.
The campaign group further proposed a four-year transitional government of national unity, claiming its programme was attracting support among young Nigerians ahead of the January presidential election.
