UEFA explains yellow card reset for Champions League
UEFA has reiterated its Champions League disciplinary rules, confirming players are suspended after three yellow cards and every subsequent odd-numbered caution. Yellow cards are wiped after the quarter-finals, ensuring no player misses the final through accumulated bookings alone. However, red cards still trigger automatic suspensions, with UEFA retaining authority to impose extended disciplinary sanctions.
