Doku set for new Man City deal as Nico Gonzalez rules out exit
Manchester City are set to secure the futures of two key players, with Jeremy Doku agreeing a new contract until 2031 and midfielder Nico Gonzalez reaffirming his commitment to the club.
According to BBC Sport, Doku’s extension is expected to be announced next week after the Belgium international impressed during the 2025-26 campaign.
Meanwhile, Gonzalez has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away, insisting he is happy at the Etihad and believes the club wants him to stay. City’s hierarchy remain relaxed over their transfer business as preparations for the new season continue.
