Femi Kuti: Nigeria’s problem stems from institutional corruption, not Tinubu
Afrobeat legend Femi Kuti has said President Bola Tinubu is not Nigeria’s core problem, pointing instead to deep-rooted institutional corruption, according to Punch Newspapers.
Speaking on the Good News Naija podcast, Kuti argued the judiciary should be blamed for failing to stop Tinubu from contesting the presidency despite corruption allegations.
He cited former EFCC chairman Nuhu Ribadu’s current role as Tinubu’s security aide as evidence Nigeria’s elite remain interconnected regardless of political differences, warning the trend risks eroding young Nigerians’ trust in the country’s institutions.
