Barcelona boss Hansi Flick uses personal message to convince Rodri

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has reportedly made a personal appeal to Rodri as the Catalan club edges closer to signing the Manchester City midfielder. According to Barca Universal, Flick told the 30-year-old that his experience, leadership and quality would make him an important part of Barcelona’s project.

Reports claim Barcelona have reached an agreement with Manchester City on a €76.5 million package. Flick reportedly sees Rodri as a senior figure capable of guiding a youthful squad that includes Pedri, Gavi and Lamine Yamal. The Spain international would also replace some of the experience lost through summer departures.
