Tottenham advance double deal for Man City stars Savinho and Marmoush
Tottenham are advancing talks with Manchester City over a potential double deal for Savinho and Omar Marmoush, according to The Athletic. No agreement has been finalised, but negotiations are progressing between the clubs. Savinho, 22, was omitted from City’s squad for Sunday’s Community Shield defeat to Arsenal, while Marmoush, 27, came on as a second-half substitute.
The proposed deals would further strengthen Tottenham’s squad under Roberto De Zerbi after an ambitious summer transfer window. Spurs have already spent £229.5 million on Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke, while also adding several free agents.
