Elon Musk says Derek Chauvin should be freed because he was unjustly convicted of murder
Elon Musk sparked controversy on Wednesday by claiming on X that Derek Chauvin — the former Minneapolis police officer sentenced to 21 years for killing George Floyd in 2020 — was “unjustly convicted of murder” and should be freed, arguing Chauvin was not the cause of Floyd’s death and never intended to kill him, according to The National Desk.
Derek Chauvin was unjustly convicted of murder, therefore he should be freed.
The facts show that he was not the cause of death, nor did he at any time intend for a death to occur. Whatever else he may be, he is not a murderer.
That is the truth.
