Davido opens up on alleged attack on Adeleke’s convoy

Afrobeats star Davido has dismissed reports that the convoy of Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke was attacked by hoodlums at the Ataoja of Osogbo’s palace on Wednesday. According to Tribune , reacting via his verified X handle, Davido said the reported gun battle occurred outside the palace and was unrelated to the governor’s entourage. “Lies! It was a fight outside the palace that had nothing to do with us.

The people love his excellency,” he wrote. The incident had earlier been reported following Adeleke’s visit to receive prayers after his INEC certificate presentation.
