How I saved Obasanjo from alleged deadly injection in prison — Atiku
Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has claimed he saved former President Olusegun Obasanjo from an alleged deadly injection while both were imprisoned, according to Tribune Online.
Atiku said he leaked information about the planned injection and warned Obasanjo against allowing it to be administered, alleging a similar plot targeted the late General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, whom he also warned. He suggested Obasanjo now resents him for opposing his third-term ambition despite this alleged intervention.
The African Democratic Congress candidate made the claims during an interview with newsmen, without providing further details on who orchestrated the alleged assassination attempts.
