NNPC unveils smart station, promises transparent fuel transactions

NNPC Limited Group Chief Executive Officer Bayo Ojulari has assured Nigerians that the company’s new Smart Self-Service Station will provide transparent pricing, accurate fuel dispensing and secure digital payments.

According to Daily Post, Ojulari said the facility represents a step in NNPC’s transformation into a customer-focused, technology-driven energy company.

The station combines self-service fuelling with digital payments and energy solutions, including electric vehicle charging, Liquefied Petroleum Gas and Compressed Natural Gas.

Ojulari said transactions and equipment performance would be monitored in real time, with controls designed to ensure pricing accuracy and dispensing calibration.

He added that the pilot station would serve as a proof of concept before a nationwide rollout based on demand, infrastructure readiness and availability of energy solutions.
