Thomas Tuchel considers shock Max Dowman England call-up after five withdrawals

England manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly considering a shock call-up for Arsenal teenager Max Dowman after several players withdrew from the squad. According to Football London, Marcus Rashford, Declan Rice, Cole Palmer, Kobbie Mainoo and Tino Livramento have all pulled out of international duty ahead of England’s upcoming Nations League fixtures.

Morgan Gibbs-White and James Garner have been drafted in as replacements, but Tuchel could turn to Dowman for further attacking options. The 16-year-old is currently with England’s Under-19s at St George’s Park and became the Premier League’s youngest goalscorer last season.
