Wike finally reveals names three APC governors fighting his Rainbow Coalition 

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has publicly identified the three All Progressives Congress governors he says are responsible for opposition to his Rainbow Coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections — naming them as Imo Governor Hope Uzodimma, Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and Ogun Governor Dapo Abiodun.

According to Daily Post, Wike made the disclosure during an interview on TVC’s Journalist Hangout, drawing a sharp distinction between the governors he said supported his political initiative and those actively working against it.

“The governors having issues with me are Governor Hope Uzodimma, Governor Abdulrazaq and Governor Dapo Abiodun,” Wike said.

The minister expressed bewilderment that sitting governors would travel to Abuja to complain about his activities rather than focus on governing their states. “How can a governor leave his state and go to Abuja to complain that Rainbow Coalition is a distraction? Is that a serious governor?” he asked.

Wike said several APC governors — including those in Adamawa, Edo, Kogi, Lagos and Akwa Ibom — had no problem with the coalition, adding that he was surprised to see the Ondo State governor among its supporters.

The remarks deepen an escalating internal APC dispute over the Rainbow Coalition, which Wike has presented as a cross-party vehicle to mobilise support for President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
