FBI hacked…all employees data stolen

A hacking group known as ShinyHunters claims it has breached multiple FBI-related services and stolen data on “all FBI employees and applicants,” according to a report by 404 Media.

A representative of the group told the outlet that the stolen data includes agents’ names, home addresses, phone numbers, and information on their spouses, with a sample of 5,000 alleged agent records reportedly reviewed by 404 Media.

The report noted that the breach could carry serious national security and counterintelligence implications, warning that criminals linked to the same hacking ecosystem have previously used similar stolen data to track and harass FBI agents. Such information could also benefit foreign intelligence services or expose agents and their families to safety risks if it circulates further.
