Lagos seals CCC parish, hotels over noise pollution, other violations

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, has sealed 12 establishments across parts of the state over alleged persistent violations of environmental regulations, including noise pollution and non-compliance with official directives.

LASEPA announced the enforcement exercise on its official X handle on Wednesday, saying the establishments were sealed on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, after repeated warnings and abatement notices. The affected areas include Ogba, Idimu-Ikota, Ejigbo, LASU-Iba Road, Igando and Agodo-Egbe.

Among those sealed were Thrillz Lounge in Ogba for noise pollution; Marvel Hotel & Suites and Celestial Church of Christ (Aduragbemi Parish) in Ikotun for noise pollution and non-compliance; and Keviz Hotel & Suites for allegedly obstructing officials and failing to comply with directives.

Other affected establishments included Feixiang Plastic, DSN Hotel & Suites, Rudaj Vegetable Oil and Limas.

The agency said the enforcement was carried out under the directives of the Lagos State Government to ensure compliance with environmental laws and protect public health.

According to The PUNCH, LASEPA said the exercise was aimed at promoting a cleaner, healthier and safer environment for Lagos residents.
