Fury-Joshua mega fight announced for December 11

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury will meet in an all-British heavyweight showdown at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 11.

According to BBC Sport, the long-awaited fight between the former world champions will be broadcast globally on Netflix, with organisers considering staging the main event in the early hours of Saturday to accommodate American audiences.

Joshua, 36, and Fury, 38, will meet at a London press conference on September 30 as preparations intensify.

The pair signed contracts earlier this year, although the venue and date remained unresolved. Wembley Stadium and Madison Square Garden had previously been considered.

The event will be promoted by Turki Alalshikh’s The Ring alongside UFC chief Dana White, ending years of failed negotiations between British heavyweight rivals.
