The blockbuster all-British clash was confirmed on Thursday by Saudi boxing powerbroker Turki Alalshikh, ending months of uncertainty over its date and venue.

The 80,000-capacity stadium was chosen after London’s Wembley Stadium and New York’s Madison Square Garden were considered. The fight will be broadcast on Netflix, with the promotional build-up beginning at a press conference in London on September 30. Fury and Joshua, both former two-time world champions, have previously suffered defeats against Oleksandr Usyk.
