Trump faces backlash after ridiculing Biden during Xi’s White House visit

US President Donald Trump has faced criticism after mocking former President Joe Biden while giving Chinese President Xi Jinping a tour of the White House during his state visit.

According to the Irish Star, Trump showed Xi his Presidential Walk of Fame, where Biden’s portrait has been replaced with an image depicting an autopen signing his name.

Footage showed Trump pointing to portraits of himself before identifying the autopen image as Biden, prompting laughter from Xi.

Former Congressman John Delaney described the gesture as “un-American,” while commentator Brian Krassenstein called it “disturbing” and “sickening.”

Xi’s visit also included talks with Trump on artificial intelligence, Taiwan, tariffs and the conflict in Iran.

Trump later showed Xi White House renovations and his Marine One helicopter.
