Nigerian woman charged with attempted mass killing after opening gas canisters in Italy

A 46-year-old Nigerian woman has been arrested in Italy after allegedly stabbing a police officer and opening three gas cylinders inside an apartment building in Verdello.

According to Alex Jones Live, officers responded to the building on Via Adua on September 18 after receiving reports of a dispute.

Police reportedly found the apartment flooded, with broken glass, exposed electrical wires and a strong smell of gas. The woman allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and struck an officer in the chest, but his protective vest prevented injury.

Emergency workers later sedated her and transported her to Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo. The report said tests indicated acute substance intoxication.

When questioned, she reportedly said she opened an extra gas canister for cooking and kept the knife to “defend herself from black magic.”

A tenant also alleged that she attacked him while shouting, “I’ll kill everyone.”

Authorities charged the woman with attempted mass killing and continued investigating the motive behind the incident.
