Cole Palmer warned his England career could be over under Thomas Tuchel

Chelsea star Cole Palmer has been warned that he may have played his last England game under manager Thomas Tuchel following his latest withdrawal from the national squad. According to Football365, former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown believes Palmer’s repeated absences could damage his international prospects.

Palmer was recalled by Tuchel after missing England’s 2026 World Cup squad but withdrew from the latest camp because of load management. Tuchel subsequently described the absence as a “missed opportunity” and highlighted Palmer’s repeated missed camps. Brown believes there is now a “real possibility” Palmer has played his final England game under Tuchel, with the 24-year-old having made only three appearances since the German took charge in 2025.
