Everything to know about America.gov, the Trump administration’s new AI-powered services website

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday unveiled America.gov, an artificial intelligence-powered website designed to give Americans a single gateway to federal government information and services, CNN reports. The platform is intended to help users navigate services including passport applications, Medicare enrolment, disaster assistance and other government programmes.

“You’ll now have one front door for every single question,” Trump said during the launch event in Washington. “A digital home built around your time, your life.” The website initially offers information and chatbot functions, while the administration plans to expand its ability to complete government transactions in 2027.

Officials said the platform will eventually connect users to thousands of federal services through one interface. US Chief Design Officer Joe Gebbia, demonstrated how users could ask questions in plain language rather than navigate multiple agency websites. Trump also signed an executive order directing federal agencies to integrate their websites with America.gov, which officials described as a major overhaul of the government’s digital services.
