2027: Your generations will be cursed if you rig election, Primate Ayodele warns INEC, politicians
The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission against any attempt to rig the 2027 general elections.
According to Daily Post, Ayodele also extended the warning to politicians, National Youth Service Corps members and security operatives involved in the electoral process.
In a video cited by the report, the cleric described the 2027 election as significant for Nigeria, saying it could provide an opportunity to “remodify Nigeria” and bring about major changes.
He said Nigerians were tired of “years of political failure” and warned those who might attempt to manipulate the polls.
“If you’re a politician, INEC official, NYSC member or security operative, and you ever take a step to rig the 2027 election, your generation after generation will be cursed,” Ayodele warned.
The cleric said he had no affiliation with any political party but would continue to speak on electoral issues based on his observations.
He urged all stakeholders to protect the integrity of the election as Nigerians prepare to elect leaders for the next four years.
