Jurgen Klopp ready to make tough Germany decisions after 40-player trial
Germany head coach Jürgen Klopp is preparing to significantly reduce his player pool after experimenting with more than 40 players during September’s international break. According to Bavarian Football Works, Klopp used the camp to assess young and inexperienced players alongside established stars before beginning a more focused selection process.
Following Germany’s disappointing 0-0 draw with Greece, Klopp indicated that the evaluation phase was ending and that performances would now be assessed more closely. The next international break is therefore expected to produce a smaller, more competitive squad, with Klopp potentially narrowing his options towards the 23 or 24 players he considers strongest for competitive fixtures.
