Pedri reveals Why Lamine Yamal was ‘a bit upset’ after Spain’s win

Barcelona midfielder Pedri has revealed that Lamine Yamal was “a bit upset” despite Spain’s Nations League victory over Croatia. Speaking to Barca Blaugranes, Pedri said Yamal was frustrated after failing to score despite creating several opportunities in the match. The teenager had entered the game in strong form, having scored three goals and provided an assist in his previous three appearances for Spain.

Pedri praised Yamal’s high standards, saying the winger always wants to score and contribute. He added that Yamal remains a major threat because he attracts several defenders and creates opportunities for his teammates. The Barcelona star has eight goals and six assists in eight matches this season.
