‘The president’s name is Bola’ — Phrank Shaibu faults Atiku’s critics

Phrank Shaibu, senior special assistant on public communication to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, has criticised persons faulting his principal for addressing President Bola Tinubu by his first name.

Shaibu, director of strategic communication of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), spoke on ‘Mic On Podcast’ with Seun Okinbaloye on Saturday.

He said Bola is the name by which Tinubu is commonly known, adding that it smacks of “wretched illiteracy” to consider Atiku’s action disrespectful.
