‘He’s not the player he was’: O’Leary questions Bukayo Saka’s Arsenal form
Arsenal legend David O’Leary has questioned whether Bukayo Saka is currently justifying his £300,000-a-week contract, urging the winger to improve his performances. Speaking on talkSPORT, O’Leary criticised the England international for going down too easily under challenges, arguing that he was previously more positive when taking on defenders.
Saka has scored three goals in eight appearances across all competitions this season but has struggled to maintain his early-season form. The 25-year-old failed to register a goal contribution in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Leeds United on Saturday. O’Leary believes Saka must rediscover his best form to make Arsenal a stronger team.
