2027: Adeleke’s campaign team pledges 1.5 million votes for Tinubu
The Imole Campaign Council has pledged to deliver 1.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in Osun State during the 2027 presidential election.
According to Peoples Gazette, the council made the pledge while welcoming Governor Ademola Adeleke’s appointment as Osun State coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council.
The council’s director-general, Olalere Oyewumi, disclosed this in a statement issued Tuesday by Adeleke’s special assistant on digital media, Olalekan Badmus.
Oyewumi described the appointment as well-deserved, expressing confidence in Adeleke’s ability to mobilise electoral support.
“We promise the president, just like Governor Adeleke had said some time ago, that we will deliver 1.5million votes to ensure his victory in the coming presidential election,” he said.
The council also urged Osun residents to continue supporting Adeleke, citing his administration’s efforts to fulfil campaign promises.
It maintained that “a vote for President Tinubu is a support for Governor Adeleke”, linking its presidential endorsement to continued support for the governor ahead of the election.
