We’ll chase Tinubu out if he fails to leave after losing 2027 election— Dele Momodu
African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain Dele Momodu has questioned President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to conducting a credible election in 2027, alleging that even his supporters distrust him.
Speaking on Arise News, Momodu claimed Nigerians were determined to prevent Tinubu from securing another term.
According to Daily Post, the veteran journalist also dismissed suggestions that Tinubu could remain in office after losing the election.
“In fact, some people are even suggesting that if Tinubu loses the election, he will not agree to step down. I say, why won’t he agree? We will chase him away.”
Momodu alleged that fear had prevented political officeholders from challenging the president.
“I know some of them. They are praying fervently that they will not have to go through this situation where governors become like houseboys. Governors are scared. Judges are scared. Legislators are scared.”
He maintained that opposition figures were working behind the scenes to prevent Tinubu’s re-election.
