‘He’s nowhere to be found’ – Rufai Oseni criticises Peter Obi over alleged policy inconsistencies ahead of 2027
Arise Television presenter Rufai Oseni has criticised Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, over alleged policy inconsistencies and inadequate political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to Daily Post, Oseni made the remarks on Friday while responding to Peoples Democratic Party chieftain Don Ulasi during Arise Television’s Morning Show.
Ulasi described Obi as a serious opposition challenger to President Bola Tinubu but questioned the NDC’s grassroots activities.
Oseni alleged that disagreements between the Obidient Movement and NDC leaders could weaken preparations.
“And that goes back to the problem that even this Peter Obi you are talking about. Are you really sure because he’s also having infighting with his NDC political party,” he said.
He questioned Obi’s petrol subsidy position and manifesto.
“So a lot of people have found him flip-flopping, and he has also lost a lot of people from the last election cycle that supported him,” Oseni added.
