How Nigerian govt ‘killed gospel singer Toluwanisings’ -VeryDarkMan
Social media activist VeryDarkMan has criticised the Nigerian government following the death of gospel singer Toluwanisings, alleging that hospital strikes prevented him from receiving emergency medical treatment.
According to Daily Post, the activist made the allegations in a statement circulating online on Friday, blaming the country’s healthcare challenges for the tragedy.
“Gospel artiste Toluwanisings was rushed to about 7 different hospitals, but they were all said to be on strike, and he lost his life. If the hospitals were not on strike, Toluwanisings would be alive.
“This is to show you how wicked the Nigerian government is. If we don’t save ourselves from this evil government, no one will”.
The singer reportedly collapsed in Ibadan on Wednesday before efforts to secure medical attention at several hospitals proved unsuccessful.
His personal assistant confirmed that some hospitals cited doctors’ strikes, while others declined admission.
However, the exact medical circumstances surrounding his death remain unconfirmed, and authorities have not established whether treatment delays contributed to his death.
