UPDATE: Man sues Guilfoyle, vows to reveal evidence that may ‘bring down entire administration’…
Former Donald Trump donor Eric Deters has filed a defamation lawsuit against former US Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle, threatening to release damaging information about Trump’s administration.
According to the New York Post, Deters announced the lawsuit after Guilfoyle allegedly claimed that leaked messages requesting financial assistance were generated using artificial intelligence.
Deters said he would withdraw the lawsuit if Trump secured the extradition of physician Abubakar Atiq Durrani, who faces allegations involving unnecessary spinal surgeries.
“This is not extortion,” Deters declared, insisting his actions were intended to secure justice for Durrani’s alleged victims.
He also threatened to release additional recordings containing potentially damaging allegations about Guilfoyle and other Trump associates.
“This might just bring down the entire Trump administration, an administration which I have supported from day one, whose policies I still support,” Deters boldly declared.
Guilfoyle resigned following controversy surrounding the messages.
Her lawyer dismissed the lawsuit, describing it as “clearly frivolous on its face.”
Durrani reportedly fled the United States before facing trial.
