Father who intervened at Oregon school identified as Kaylub Giamanco

The hero who shot and killed the school shooter in Bend, OR on Thursday has been identified as 36-year-old father Kaylub Giamanco, according to NBC News.

Giamanco, who has a concealed-weapon permit, passed the school while driving back to work from his lunch break and heard gunshots, prompting him to try and stop the shooter, NBC reports.
