Democrats release major report on Trump’s alleged ties to Epstein crimes
Democrats on the US House Judiciary Committee have released a report examining President Donald Trump’s alleged connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, calling for an independent investigation.
According to Newsweek, the report, released Monday, October 26, examines accounts involving 11 women, including five who directly accused Trump of serious sexual misconduct in Epstein’s company or presence.
The Democratic staff report also accuses the Department of Justice of withholding Epstein-related documents and obstructing investigative efforts.
Among those cited are Beatrice Keul, Stacey Williams and Jill Harth, whose allegations against Trump have not resulted in criminal findings.
The White House rejected the accusations.
“None of these allegations are true,” spokesperson Lauren Bis said.
Democrats are demanding the appointment of an independent special counsel to investigate Trump’s relationship with Epstein and the Justice Department’s handling of related evidence.
Trump has consistently denied wrongdoing connected to Epstein, and the allegations remain unproven.
