Former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul accuses Trump of rape in 1993
Former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul has alleged that President Donald Trump raped her at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in November 1993, according to a new report by House Judiciary Committee Democrats examining Trump’s alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
The report alleges that Trump, Epstein and others used the Donald J. Trump American Dream Pageant, a competition for women aged 16 to 22, as a “‘hunting ground’ to prey on vulnerable young women and girls.”
As reported by PEOPLE, Keul, then 24, claims Trump approached her at a press luncheon and promised help with a visa and admission to New York University. A Trump representative allegedly invited her upstairs later that day. She alleges he assaulted her in a suite, then told her, “[T]he show must go on.”
Trump has not been charged with a crime in connection with the allegations. White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis denied them. “None of these allegations are true,” she said, adding that the president “has been fully exonerated of anything related to Epstein.”
