William Saliba included in Arsenal traveling squad for Slavia Prague clash
Arsenal have received a major boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League fixture against Slavia Prague, with defender William Saliba returning to the traveling squad following a four-month lay-off due to a back injury.
Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that the French center-back has completed his rehabilitation and is ready for minutes.
According to a report by Daily Cannon, Arteta provided an update on Saliba’s recovery and readiness:
“He feels really comfortable. He played 45 minutes behind closed doors last week. He feels ready to go. Whether we use him or not now is a matter of what the team needs.
Now you’re in or not. Now he’s in. He’s in like anybody else. All the preparation has been done to make sure all the load and all the steps have been done to minimise the risk.”
