US judge temporarily blocks construction of Trump’s triumphal arch
A federal judge late Thursday temporarily blocked the Trump administration from starting construction on President Trump’s proposed 250-foot triumphal arch, with U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan barring any “construction-related activity” for 14 days after ruling that a group of Vietnam veterans, Virginia and the District of Columbia are likely to succeed in showing the government skipped required legal processes, and that the two jurisdictions likely have standing to sue over traffic-related economic harms, CBS News reported.
