American actress Hayden Panettiere, known for starring in “Heroes,” “Nashville” and “Remember the Titans,” has died aged 36.

CBS News reported that a representative confirmed Panettiere’s death, while her father, Skip Panettiere, announced the news in a family statement.

Her family described the actress as an “incredible light” who brought joy to those who knew and watched her, and requested privacy while mourning.
