Al Qadsiah in advanced talks to sign Manchester City’s Tijjani Reijnders
Saudi Arabian club Al Qadsiah are in advanced negotiations with Manchester City over a potential move for Tijjani Reijnders, with talks also taking place with the midfielder. The Athletic reports that both clubs are hopeful of reaching an agreement in the coming days, despite Al Qadsiah preparing for their season opener.
Reijnders joined City from AC Milan for £46.5 million in June 2025 and made 47 appearances during his debut campaign, recording five goals and two assists. However, he started only half of City’s Premier League matches, increasing uncertainty over his future following Elliot Anderson’s arrival. Al Qadsiah want the Netherlands international as they strengthen their squad ahead of moving into the new Aramco Stadium.
